CERYS DOWNES

Meet Cerys Downes, our tattoo and piercing apprentice with a strong artistic foundation and a particular passion for portrait realism and horror-inspired artwork. With a natural eye for detail, expression and character, Cerys is developing her skills as she begins her career in the industry.

Cerys is especially drawn to realistic portraiture and darker imagery, from recognisable horror characters to detailed black & grey artwork. Her existing drawings already show a clear sense of the direction she wants to take her tattooing as her technique and confidence continue to develop.

As part of her apprenticeship at Distinktion, Cerys is building her tattooing skills through drawing, design work and practical training under guidance and supervision. She will also be training in professional piercing, developing the knowledge, techniques and practical skills needed alongside her tattoo apprenticeship.

Creative, focused and passionate about her craft, Cerys is excited to develop her own distinctive style and continue building her skills across both tattooing and piercing.
