BOOKING PROCESS
Everything you need to know about starting your tattoo journey with Distinktion — from your first enquiry to appointment day.
01 — SEND US YOUR IDEA
Tell us what you’re looking to have tattooed, including the approximate size, placement and style. Reference images are always helpful, and you can also let us know if you have a particular artist in mind.
02 — ARTIST & QUOTE
We’ll look through your enquiry and recommend the artist best suited to your tattoo. We can usually provide initial price guidance, or we may recommend a free consultation if we need to discuss the piece in more detail.
03 — FREE CONSULTATION
For larger, more detailed, cover-up or rework projects, we may invite you into the studio for a free, no-obligation consultation. This gives you and your artist the opportunity to discuss placement, sizing, design and what will work best.
04 — SECURE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Once you’re happy to go ahead, a deposit secures your appointment. Deposits vary depending on the booking and are deducted from the final cost of your tattoo.
05 — DESIGN & APPOINTMENT DAY
Your artist will create your design based on everything discussed with you. On the day of your appointment, we’ll confirm the final design, placement and sizing with you before tattooing begins.
DEPOSITS & RESCHEDULING
A deposit is required to secure all tattoo appointments and will be deducted from the final cost of your tattoo.
Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to move your appointment, we require at least 48 hours' notice. Your deposit can be transferred to a new appointment up to two times.
After a second reschedule, or in the event of a no-show or cancellation without sufficient notice, a new deposit will be required before another appointment can be booked.
